Membership

1. Membership of the Association shall consist of three classes-

1. Life
2. General
3. Allied

Only General Members shall have the right to vote, to requisition meetings and to be elected to the EC.

2. Allied Members shall be divided into two categories viz.

1. Honorary Member
2. Student Member

Membership fees and annual subscription

a. Entrance Fees

Subject to change from time-to-time, the entrance fees shall be payable at the time of admission by members at the following rates:

(N:B: Subject to change as per decision of EC members)

b. Life Subscription

1. Any General Member can make life subscription by paying Tk. 25,000.00.
2. Every General member will pay the first subscription and then pay life subscription.
3. Life Subscription cannot be paid retrospectively.

c. Additional Fee:

The EC may, if it considers necessary in the discharge of any important or special function of the Association levy an additional fee or fees provided that such fees do not exceed 50% of the annual fee within a calendar year and may raise subscriptions in case of war, any natural calamity. Liaison Office also raise subscription for the convention or for any function approved by Local EC. Liaison Office may accept on behalf of the Association moneys or goods from any source with the prior approval of the EC.

d. Miscellaneous:

1. The annual subscription shall be due on the first day of July each year for the financing year commencing that day.
2. He/she who has been elected before the 31st December in any year shall pay the full annual subscription for that financial year and those elected after the said day shall pay half of such subscription for that financial year.

Admission of Member

Every candidate for enrolment as a Member of any class shall apply through the Website to the Association. Candidates fulfilling the requirements as prescribed in this Constitution shall be admitted to the Association on payment of the prescribed fees and his/her name shall be entered in the Register of the Association.

1. Qualification: He or she must be an MBA from the University of Chittagong.
2. Occupation: He or she must be engaged, as an entrepreneur or executive, in the profession of business, commerce and industry, finance, banking, business education and the like.

Admission of Member

Every candidate for enrolment as a Member of any class shall apply through the Website to the Association. Candidates fulfilling the requirements as prescribed in this Constitution shall be admitted to the Association on payment of the prescribed fees and his/her name shall be entered in the Register of the Association.

Honorary Members

When it is proposed by the EC a qualified person to be an Honorary Member as per Constitution, the person so proposed shall be approached by the General Secretary for obtaining his/her consent. On receipt of the consent his/her name and qualifications shall be announced in the Annual General Meeting. His/her name shall then be entered in the Register of the Association. In case of Honorary Members, there shall be no entrance fee and no annual subscription.

General Members

General Member shall satisfy the following qualifications: -

1. Qualification: He or she must be an MBA from the University of Chittagong.
2. Occupation: He or she must be engaged, as an entrepreneur or executive, in the profession of business, commerce and industry, finance, banking, business education and the like.

Student Members

Every candidate for attachment to the Association as a Student Member with the object of becoming engaged in the profession of business and commerce must be a student of MBA/BBA program under the University of Chittagong and shall not be less than 18 (Eighteen) years of age.
